Department Researchers Receive Grant to Advance Cellular Metabolism Studies

The Department of Biochemistry has received new research funding to support a multidisciplinary project focused on understanding how cells regulate energy production under changing environmental conditions. The initiative brings together faculty and student researchers across molecular biology, protein science, and computational analysis.

The project aims to generate new insights into metabolic adaptation and expand opportunities for student involvement in laboratory research. Undergraduate and graduate students will participate through research placements, data analysis, and collaborative publication efforts.
